We got back from Bob Jones Friday night around midnight. We had a real nice time.
The first day we arrived, we unpacked at the dorms, then met up with some friends from extension. I can't remember if we visited any classes Wednesday. That night, I met the girls in my dorm at prayer group. They didn't go to bed until 12:00am, and they woke up at 5:30am, so obviously I didn't get much sleep that night lol.
Thursday, Brooke picked out most of the classes for us to visit. Most of them I had a hard time staying awake (like one about how to arrange furniture). She took me to a lot of "women's ministries" classes.
Some classes were in the Aluminum building......oh wait I meant Alumni building......lol.
That's what Brooke called it at first LOL.... Jeremy and I never let her hear the end of it.
You might be surprised to find out we played a lot of UNO at BJ with Jeremy in between classes to kill time. It was funny, definitely a highlight of the trip. We also played scategories, that was also fun.
Thursday night, BJU had stuff planned for the visiting High Schoolers. A seminar about "How to survive college life", and a pizza party. After the pizza party we went to play more uno instead of flag football. Then, we saw a comedy play put on by the admission counselors. It wasn't that funny to me lol.
I don't know what we would have done without Jeremy. He was our tour guide, we could have been walking in circles for hours if he wasn't there lol. He would quiz us about where we were, and half the time we didn't know LOL. So Thanks Jeremy!
Friday, we went to classes almost all day. But I had to go back to the dorms to take a nap, I was SO tired! We played uno again between classes. Later on we met Mrs. Gillis and put our stuff in her car....that was about 6:00pm.
That night we had two hours to play games before the basketball game (8:00pm). The place where we would play games (Social Parlor) said "no food or drinks" so I had to drink my bottle of Mountain Dew right before we went inside. I told Jeremy, "I just drank a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew". LOL it was actually only 16 ounces, so I was way off.
I was laughing uncontrollably, and so was Jeremy and Brooke. We had fun LoL. Good Times.
After watching some of the basketball game, we headed home at about 9:45pm..... I think. I couldn't sleep even when I tried, the Mountain Dew wouldn't let me! I was extremely tired though. I went to bed at 1am when we got home.
I love it how Bob Jones University puts God first in everything they do. I believe it's their #1 priority for the students to grow spiritually during their college years. If I ever go to a college away from home, it will be Bob Jones University.

Nice post........ I laughed when I saw the Uno picture at the top.
Exactly.
Haha. I like to lol.
Hey Holly,
Sounds like you had a wonderful time. Are you now the UNO champion?? It's been so long since I played that, I don't remember anything about it. When are you guys coming down our way?
Love ya,
Hey,
Maybe the next time you're over, we can give me a refresher course on UNO. The picture "magic" was done with Corel Paintshop Pro.
