I don't usually post about politics, but I thought this was interesting.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is surprise choice to be McCain's running mate; mother of 5 is considered rising star in GOP, known for pro-life stand, fiscal conservatism.

But unfortunatley, she's still a woman. No matter how Godly the woman, the Bible forbids her running for and holding office.

I was quite excited about the choice. Also, the scriptures say nothing about women leading in politics or secular establishments being wrong. We are however told that for a women to teach as a preacher or pastor is wrong. It is only acceptable to teach women and children.

Men are made to lead, not women. Women are told to submit. Simple as that.
