O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.

Saturday, Brooke and I returned home from a 5 day trip to The Wilds camp in North Carolina.
The header picture at the top of the page was taken early one morning before breakfast.
I'm hoping to write an extensive post about the whole trip one day, if I can find the time. To say the least, I had a marvelous time. The spiritual impact it had on me was the most rewarding part. The verse above was one that I meditated on for almost the entire time at The Wilds, and has come to be one of my favorite verses.

Hey girl,
Glad you had such a refreshing, renewing, & rewarding time. How many times have I stood in awe of God. Truly God is.... everywhere present and no where absent.
Love you,
Aunt Joyce

Nice remodel......I need to work on mine.
I had a blast at the Wilds! Rusty Smith had some really good/convicting sermons. I'm glad that I got to go! We should do it again next year. Brooke might be a counselor.........lol
I'm making a slide show thing about the Wilds. So if you want, you and Brooke can send me some pics to put on there. :D

Thanks, y'all! You know me, always changing my blog! LOL.
Brooke, I am so glad we got to go to camp together too :)
Too bad you can't go as a camper again, but like Jeremy said, maybe you can be a counselor!
Jeremy, I agree, I think we should definitely go to The Wilds again next year. It will be something to look forward to for a long time lol. I would send you some pictures, but honestly I didn't take very many. But Brooke did! She took all the good pictures :) And better quality too.
Aunt Joyce, I hope Amber and Autumn are behaving themselves! LOL. As you know, they are a mess! I know all three of them are having so much fun together :) Love you too!
Your blog has M.P.D.
Get a straight jacket handy...
Every time you turn around another one of it's personalities comes out. Maybe this personality won't eat it's own comments.
And I wonder what exactly do you mean? Do you intend to imply that I am some insane person who escaped from the asylum?
....:D
Multiple personality disorder (MPD) is a psychiatric disorder characterized by having at least one "alter" personality that controls behavior. The "alters" are said to occur spontaneously and involuntarily, and function more or less independently of each other. The unity of consciousness, by which we identify our selves, is said to be absent in MPD. Another symptom of MPD is significant amnesia which can't be explained by ordinary forgetfulness.
....Sound like me? Or my Blog? Maybe....ha. Let's just ponder this for awhile.
Blogs with M.P.D. have big appetites! LOL.
