Our family has been sick this past week. It started with Amber and Autumn, then Jeremy, next Mom and Brooke (simultaneously), and now Dad and I are starting to feel weak today.
It was a little scary Friday night because Mom and Dad had to take Jeremy to the emergency room. He was dehydrated....because he couldn't keep down any amount of water. So at the hospital, they gave him an iv for about an hour. Mom, Dad, and Jeremy didn't get home until 3:00am Saturday morning. Jere is doing better today, but is not over it yet. Amber and Autumn feel better today also, but Brooke was miserable last night. Bless her heart :( Mom isn't doing too good, although she might be past the worst of it. So we're all just laying around pretty much- lol. I feel like I am not getting anything done!
Yesterday, Alabama (no.1) won against LSU (now no. 19). We have a perfect season so far! I'm so proud of our team...Nick Saban has done a fine job. The SEC championship, and then the National Championship is almost in view :D. The last time Bama won the nation championship was in 1992 (my year!).
Thursday, was the day I finally obtained my driver's license. It feels so good! It has been a long road from the time when I had my permit until now. I made so many mistakes (some of which I am praising the Lord for his Grace), and I have learned a lot through them. At times I just wanted to give up, and even avoided driving for a long while. But you know, doing that made it a lot harder on myself. I wasn't improving because I wasn't practicing. This is the same case when it comes to the Christian walk. James 1:22 says, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." Putting into practice the things the Lord is teaching you is the only way you can serve the Lord effectively. This is something I am learning in the Bible study class at our church.
Well, keep my family in you prayers. I hope I don't go downhill from here!

Hey girl,
Hope everyone is feeing better now. Poor Jeremy :( Chris said he was pitiful but, got alot better once he got some fluids in him. It's so hard when little ones are sick. It's hard when big ones are sick too. I was worried Chris would bring a "bug" back with him.:o !!
Thank the good Lord we both seem to be o.k.
I've tried to log on to the family pics but it won't let me. What am I doing wrong????
Love you lots,
Aunt Joyce
Hello Holly,
My name is Kris, I left a comment on your blog a few months ago. I hope your family is back on the mend and that you all are feeling better. If you don't mind my asking, where to you get all of the templates for you blog? I am ready to change mine, and have been on several template websites but have yet to find one that I like. If you could pass on that info to me it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks:)
Thanks Holly, God bless:)
