I don't usually post about politics, but I thought this was interesting.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is surprise choice to be McCain's running mate; mother of 5 is considered rising star in GOP, known for pro-life stand, fiscal conservatism.

On the brink of being ecstatic-

I just finished my 30-hour Online Driving Course! Watch out people, pretty soon I will have my license!!!!!!

All I have to do now is that 2 day Drug Awareness class at the library...( my bubble is slowly deflating).
......And then I still have to learn to parallel park.
....And I still need a few more hours drive time.

(The bubble.......doesn't even exist anymore.)

So I still have work to do, but it's getting close.

Joy in the Fellowship of God

O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.

-Ps63-

Saturday, Brooke and I returned home from a 5 day trip to The Wilds camp in North Carolina.
The header picture at the top of the page was taken early one morning before breakfast.
I'm hoping to write an extensive post about the whole trip one day, if I can find the time. To say the least, I had a marvelous time. The spiritual impact it had on me was the most rewarding part. The verse above was one that I meditated on for almost the entire time at The Wilds, and has come to be one of my favorite verses.

Question

I was just curious….

What do you think about “Christian Rock” music?

Over the years, it seems I have gotten used to “Christian” music that is more and more “rocky”. Here’s the argument: It’s “Christian music” and the lyrics are about the Lord. I know some like Switchfoot and Lifehouse can go either way, those are another story (although I like Switchfoot but sometimes have seconds thoughts about them for some reason). I’m talking about the Christian Rock Music, that sounds like rock but is labeled Christian and sings Christian lyrics. Is it wrong? You decide.

Apparently this one web-site I came across is really against Christian Rock:

Interesting.
